The term surveyis used to describe, the process of collecting information to be used in statistical analysis (Sheppard, 2020) and is often used as a blanket, or umbrella, term to describe various tools used to gather data from a particular group (Surbhi, 2017). One manner in which to survey a group is through a questionnaire. A questionnaire is set of questions used to gather information from respondents (Sheppard, 2020). If the set of questions is only used for the respondents purposes, it is considered questionnaire. If the responses are aggregated for statistical analysis, however, it is a survey (2020). For example, if a high school senior answered a set of questions, the results ofwhich were presented to them to help them narrow down potential colleges/universities to apply to, that is a questionnaire. If those same responses were used by colleges/universities to analyze demographic and geographic locations of applicants, the questions now become a survey. The distinguishing factor is how the data collected
