This paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the role and approaches of physiotherapy in multipathological older adults with dominant impairments in physical fitness, which represent one of the major health problems in the elderly population.Along with the increasing life expectancy, the number of older adults living with multiple chronic conditions (multipathology) has also increased. This condition is often accompanied by a decline in physical fitness, which affects independence, quality of life, and increases the risk of disability. Therefore, physiotherapy plays a crucial role in promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative efforts for older adults.The author acknowledges that this paper still has limitations.
