While recognized as a footwear and fashion retailer, but what many people outside Zappos might not realize is that Zappos is a service business that happens to sell footwear and fashion. Since its founding in 1999 as a shoe delivery service, Zappos has continued to deliver WOW to its customers by being one of the first online retailers to introduce free next day shipping and free returns for up to 365 days [ CITATION Zap \l 1033 ] . As Zappos looks to continue to grow its growth strategy, the natural first step outside of expanding its current product selection is for Zappos to look south and begin customer expansion into the Mexican market. Currently, Zappos headquarters resides in Henderson, Nevada, and they deliver products directly to consumers within the United States.
