Monitor electrolytes, kidney and liver function. Side effects: blurred vision, dizziness, HA, dry mouth, hypokalemia, hyponatremia. Interacts w digoxin, alcohol, stimulant laxatives, and BP meds. 2)Contraindications for selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERMs) Any estrogen dependent cancer, active thromboembolic disorder (thrombophlebitis) - Venous thromboembolism, or history of it. Med will need to be discontinued 72 hrs before and during any prolonged immobility (surgery or long trip).
