Discussion: Using the Walden LibraryPsychiatry is a field of medicine that concentrates on the treatment, prevention, and judgment of psychological, behavioral, and emotional disorders. Mental health, on the other hand, incorporates effective operation in day to day activities resulting in healthy associations, ability to handle adversity and adapt to change, and productive activities in terms of caregiving, school, and work. In my area of practice, I have discovered the significance of synthesis and identified it as a skill that I use on a daily basis, without even thinking about it. Establishing solid synthesis skills is vital for researchers, writers, and nurses. Therefore, combining the information collected, references read, and literature evaluated together in a novel manner that indicates associations and links is what good synthesis is concerned about (Shellenbarger, 2016).The article that I have chosen is ‘Simplifying Synthesis’ by Teresa Shellenbarger, and database I used to search for the article was the Internet, specifically the Walden University Library. I did not experience any difficulties while searching for this particular article. I also believe that the Walden Library database would be useful to my colleagues as there is enough information regarding nursing, especially with regards to how best to synthesize
