Since this time Walmart has grown even beyond Mr. Waltons visioninto one of the worlds largest retailers. Within five years of its first store opening, Walmart would come to open another twenty-four stores and incorporate their brand to Walmart, Inc on October 31, 1969. Sam Walton had a vision for his stores and that was to bring inexpensive goods to the small-town markets, other companies scoffed at this but he made his vision a reality and sixty years later, Walmart is now a household name ( www.pbs.org ). Walmarts slogan, Save Money, Live Better, pertains to everything that the company was founded upon, as well as everything that it does for the community. Walmart has a commitment to clean renewable energy with zero waste, as well as its reputation of being as a place where prices on brand name items are low, thanks to volume that Walmart can purchase them in, as this allows them to offer the savings to their customers.
