Biblical stewardship and business are of the close relationship as both their concept emphasize on resource management. According to Genesis (39:1-6a), Man has a responsibility to manage the household well, and he is not to waste resources of the family but make wise decisions. The same concept applies to business as owners, managers, and employees are responsible for their use of resources owned by others. Concerning life, learning about the place where we live and caring about the support given to us, that we use, is a principle that is not for one’s own house but the entire planet as a whole (Gen, 2:19). In response to the relationship between biblical stewardship and business, I agree that owners, managers, and employees are accountable for the resources we use as they are essential to our health, the quality of life we live, and our survival of not just one person but the community as a whole.
