My Hebrew name, Shmueal, is difficult to pronounce, so Sam should suffice. I was born and raised in New York, and joined the NYPD in 2009. In 2011 I joined the Israel Defense Forces (I.D.F.) for 2 years of military service. Today I have the privilege of serving as a Law Enforcement Officer with the Miami Shores Police Department as a Traffic Hit & Run Investigator. Writing is an essential life tool and it is extremely useful in the law enforcement community. It is important to write clearly and concisely, especially when it comes to documenting police reports. In my line of work, accurate detailing of arrest reports and crime cases are crucial in fulfilling our duties as public servants. There is a great order of magnitude when it comes to submitting accurate documentation, as there is a direct correlation in the results of crime case reports and investigations.
