To therefore, beat the deadline, he decides to consume a capsule to awaken his mind as he sits in the library of the college where he was supposed to finish the assignment. In the same room is his friend Adam, a bright student in medical class, however, who decided to change the course and switched to English Literature. Adam too instead of focusing on reading his literature books, is as well busy smoking some powder through a water pipe (Kirn 2005). The subjectivity has influenced the opinion the author expresses in the nonfiction story in such a way that the actual message he intended to pass to the reader of the real situation in the college is- lost in the words he uses.
