Critical Thinking By Andrew Bell March 13, 2013 Ashford University/Instructor Champion Introduction To Applied Behavioral Science Critical Thinking Critical Thinking is within us all, and is the sense that instructs ones beliefs, and how to propose judgments. Critical Thinking includes examining goals to clarify, conclusions, evaluates evidence, assumptions, and looks as hidden values where they are discerned. Science is the knowledge one gains from processed information gathered about the universe, and the different perspectives one obtains and then interprets from it. Science is the naturalistic terms expressions of the knowledge which the world makes allowable. The Evidence Based Practice (EPB) has the primary focus of mental and behavioral interventions which are significant to treating specific problems or issues through empirical research. The American Occupation Association, American Psychological Association, and American Physical Therapy Association professionals are stress about the Evidence-Based Practice lacks in the showing of the evidence reached, that needs a clear and concise decision to either support or reject the given intervention. The EPB also receives pressure through public and private health care agencies of insurance that on many instances refuse to cover because the evidence lacks usefulness (Fletcher RH, Fletcher SW, 1997).
