1. Analyse the manner in which Zappos leadership has fostered a culture of ethicalness in the company. Suggest two (2) actions that other companies can take in order to mimic this culture.The leadership at Zappos had been to provide an environment where the employees can innovate and communicate freely with the management. The culture has been developed to develop relationships which will be important to create employee engagement at all levels of the organization. The leadership have been successful in building this kind of relationship through methods which are innovative and relatively untested in the organizational culture scenario(Burkus et al., 2012). The two pointers which other firms can follow from this culture of Zappos are:1.undertanding the employee and its needs: the employees are the most important part of the organization and Zappos had developed a transparent process in dealing with the needs of the company which has been through social networks and team building through constant interaction. The extensive training with activities which help the employees to understand the job and the culture through constant dialogue with the managers and even the CEO had improved the confidence and motivation.
