Think of some contemporary examples of each and explain why they are or are not measurable statements of fact. An example of puffery would be the Foster Farms chicken commercials. They have these chickens known as the foster imposters, representing other chicken companies. The commercials show these imposters trying to sneak in and represent themselves as Foster Farms chickens. You see these chickens eating pizza, drinking soda and all kinds of other unlikely foods. An example of deceptive advertising would be Canyon Creek Ranch Brand dog treats. When you look at the back of the package, it says that it is from 901 Chouteau Ave St Louis, MO 63102-1009. However, after hunting all over the package, in very small print, you find that the meat is actually from China. I first found this out back in November, when the news was talking about dogs getting sick from chicken dog treats that were produced in China.
