1 Bud d hism Vocabulary Assignment Bodhi is a Sanskrit word that means enlightenment, spiritual awakening. In Bud d hism, bod hi is the main religious goal, achievement of which signifies not only acquisition of super knowled ge, but also is a premise for the final release in Nirvana.
