Telehealth involves administering care via technology, such as webcams and remote conferencing apps, that can help patients and health care providers communicate effectively and easily (Mataxen and Webb, 2019). Specialized equipment can also allow for some forms of patient health monitoring, while other uses include allowing a platform for effective patient communication. Essentially, telehealth allows nurses, physicians and patients to remain in contact with one another even over long
