IntroductionMany researches have seeked to understand the comparison between whites and blacks, and their satisfaction with the services offered by the police. The results have consistently indicated that most blacks are dissatisfied by the police, with high level of racial profiling and mistreatment. However, little has been done to understand the same comparison between the Latinos and the whites. A research conducted in San Antonio, Texas by John D. McCluskey, Cynthia Perez McCluskey and Roger Enriquez in 2008 indicated that the majority of Latinos are satisfied with the police compared to whites. Inadequacy of the sample designThe researchers interviewed 454 respondents through telephone interview. This is referred to as convenience sampling. However, they identified that the majority (54%) of telephone calls were hang up while others respondents refused to give any information.
