The singers are so immersed in the song that they even tap their feet while playing. Then abruptly the lead singer stops the song. The audience make a few noises to show that they are disappointed when the music comes into a halt. The speaker uses this positive emotional build-up and the disappointment when music stops to explain to the audience to explain that music can alter the moods or attitudes of human beings. He explains how certain songs like Here Comes The Bride create a happy mood during a wedding. On the other hand, music like Ashokan Farewell create a sombre mood, thus are ideal for a funeral. Others are carefully selected to shift the mood of the viewers in TV shows. I do agree with the speaker that music has the power to set moods and influence attitude.
