When I think of leadership, I think of the numerous leaders I have come to admire, be they pillars of the healthcare industry, leaders I know personally, or historical figures. Qualities such as self-motivation, ambition, determination, and encouragement are a few that an effective leader should possess. I also believe that leadership comes over time, so I am yet to accomplish the leadership status. Almost all leaders have their values and ways of attaining greatness in their lives. As a leader in the healthcare industry, I must motivate my team and to determine how best I can work with associates to effectively commit their energy and time to attain the organizational goals through the established vision. I believe that I must some values that will help me become an effective leader and to accomplish my goals. My main core values include diversity, empathy and compassion, servant leadership, and communication.
