Hello Joanne Trinidad,Thank you for your candid discussion on healthcare information. I concur with you that the healthcare information has become highly complex largely due to the emerging dynamics in relation to cyber security. Issues such as privacy and information ownership have significantly increased in prominence. Despite the emerging issues, factors such as the increasing cost of healthcare, genomics, and the increase of customized care have enhanced the need for nurse informatics (Nagle, Sermeus, & Junger, 2017). Your experience clearly demonstrates the perfect scenario in which the nurses use informatics to enhance service delivery. Hospital is usually a busy with high number of patients. Since a lot of data is collected, nurses must analyze the data and come up with a meaningful information. The positive use of data demonstrates importance of technology in providing patient care (Sweeney, 2017). ReferencesNagle, L. M., Sermeus, W., & Junger, A. (2017).
