Hello Diana Merino,I appreciate your thorough discussion on the need of academic portfolio. I agree that portfolio provides a detailed summary of an individual experience and accomplishment. However, it is important to note that when applying for jobs, the employers receive a lot of applications (Casey and Egan, 2013). Therefore, the manner in which a person writes or formats his or her portfolio is highly critical. Portfolio must provide the employer with the detailed summary of individual’s academic background and experience. In the section, a person must provide a clear, but detailed summary of his or her previous and current work experience, academic accomplishments, a brief educational history, and awards or career accomplishments.
