The job evaluation is therefore the process used to determine the order of importance of the various positions to the overall success of the business, skill required, physical and mental effort, responsibilities of the job and working conditions. The aim of the process is to ensure that there is fair compensation for employees, determines the pay grade, reviews all the job positions after the business has undergone major changes to determine the new worth of positions and finally, to determine the training needs of each job (Aswathappa, 2013).
