Editing And Revising Is A Tough Task Especially Wh

Editing and revising is a tough task especially when you have to write the task all over again. I was lucky that most of my writing do not require a major write up. However, the undertaking was a real challenge. Firstly, you have to indentify the mistakes then devise correct ways of replacing those mistakes. I do this by reading through a piece of writing while highlighting mistakes or /and areas of weakness. The second step that I always do is to read out loud. This way it is easy to establish mistakes that would otherwise be invisible. My major concern while editing is to ensure that I do not lower the quality of my work. This too often happen as the first draft is usually inventive and always has great ideas. Thus when revising it is always important to ensure that I don’t lower the quality of my initial draft. Sometimes it is inevitable to thinks of starting all over again. When this happen, I have always started a new write-up. This is however impossible when working on a bigger project that exceed 5 A4 pages.
