Weekly Reading Reflection R5: The three most important issues raised in the reading include having a focus, knowing what to design and implementing the needs of the consumer in the design. The chapter highlights that focus is the most important concepts that designers should have in mind every time they think of developing a new product. Figuring out the exact requirements of the design is the other important issue that a designer must have considered before engaging in the business of designing products. The consumer is the ultimate decision-maker concerning all goods and services in the market. A designer should therefore, consider their needs before developing a product (Saffer 2010).QuestionsMust a person be detailed-oriented to make a good designer? How can a designer include the human interaction in a product without redoing the design?ExampleThe perfect example that suits the reading is sports personality especially in the hockey sport. When a player in a hockey sport misses the focus he or she stands being injured. ReferencesSaffer, D. (2010). Designing for Interaction (2nd Ed.): New Jersey: Pearson Education
