Therefore the customer is interested to have their order served within a short time after orderingIndependence: The customer is interested in transacting their business independent of interactions with the cash register clerksProblem Statement:Customers going through McDonald’s self-ordering kiosks have described the following problems encountered in the current system.Time it takes time for a customer to access the self-ordering kiosk because of long queues of people waiting to use the service. The queues are cause by some kiosks being out of order and by people who fail to use the ordering system correctly. Some customers who wish to change their order do not use the “HELP’ button. Instead they wait at the Kiosk for assistance from a waiter. As a result the service at the self-ordering Kiosk is inefficient and slow leading to formation of queues. <span
