Today one can wear exclusive clothes, have refined manners or try to convey any message to others. However, the way of speaking demonstrates his/her personality better than the most expensive suit. The inadequacy of traditional view of language can be seen in its focus on native speakers who always were considered as its primary consumers. However, rapid globalization of modern world brought dramatic changes in this approach increasing the number of multilingual speakers. At the same time, progress also brought challenges.
