Diversity does not just refer to race, gender, or ethnicity. Diversity efforts should focus on promoting a heterogenous mix of employees and reduce the risks of sub-cultures. Sub-cultures can develop where there are dominant organizational cultures and, because of varying backgrounds, seek commonality with each other (Ledimo, 2015).Bias and Limitations:The study was conducted with a quantitative design. The population of the study was4,350 employees of a military organization. A computerized program selected a sample size of238 managerial and staff-level employees (Ledimo,2015).One limitation was the population sample. The study focused on a military organization with a predominantly diverse workforce.
