Project TwoSouthern New Hampshire UniversityPSY 260: Statistical Applications for the Behavioral and Social Sciences 02:05:30 GMT -05:00Project TwoAnalysis Report Summary:To determine whether there is a difference in the average agreement with gay individuals having the right to marry one another among 288 people who were interviewed in 4 different geographic regions of the United States an Anova F test was performed.This data was rated on a 5-point likert scale on the agreement of gay marriage. With the data collected we are able to see the average, region, respondents, variance, and the average. The average for the Northeast region is 2.19 with a variance of 1.5, the South average is 1.79 with a variance of 1.01, the Midwest has an average of2.01 with a variance of 1.07 and the West with an average of 2.07 and a variance of1.59. Looking further into the data we can see that there is an alpha value of 0.05, and a P-value of 0.15. We are also able to look at the degree of freedom between the groups which is 3, and the difference within the regions would be 285. Based on the data it is determined that there is not
