Meaning the problems employees have outside of work is simply not the employers problem. This factor could influence the prioritization of workplace wellness programs by the employer. According to a study conducted by the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine concluded many employers do not promote their workplace wellness programs causing many employees to have no idea any wellness program even exists.A second significant factor that could impact the topic of workplace wellness programs includes the assumptions that come with the word wellness. When it comes to wellness people associate it with a positive connotation. This is a problem because it creates a bias thatworkplace wellness programs
