Answer 1:Crashing, fast tracking and scope reduction are the three techniques by which project can be brought back on the schedule or for the compression of schedule. In fast tracking, some of the activities are carried out in the parallel fashion so as to reduce the time line of the project. This is the best method by which project manager tries to compress the schedule. The major risk in this method is the chances of error increases because of doing the task before deadline. Moreover, there is certain task where output of one act the input of another, fast tracking is ineffective. But if the task is chosen effectively taking critical path into consideration, gives the best results. It is usually referred as the first and best choice.
