Organizations can widen their talent pool, save money, and improve employee retention. This topic allows for two opposing viewpoints to be debated. Opposing arguments can be made for self-discipline, miscommunication between team members, and isolation. This argument will show why remote positions are preferable for higher education professionals.Higher education administration is the initial audience. Higher education administrators can determine if a position is suitable for remote work. They can present the opportunity for approval to their superiors if there is tangible evidence of its benefits. Showing the mutual benefits of remote work for the employee and the employer will be a challenge. Research may favor the employee's point of view over demonstrating the viability of this option for bothparties. Another challenge is to discover research that is not just focused on the Covid-19 period. My goal is to find resources that balance the positives for both.
