The SUV was crossing over the central bridge when it collided with a barrier wall, causing significant damage. The Main City Sheriff's Department received notification of the collision at approximately 2:33 AM and immediately dispatched deputy sheriffs to the scene. Upon arriving at the scene, the deputy sheriffs discovered that the SUV's two occupants were unresponsive and in need of immediate medical attention. A call was placed to Fire Rescue, who arrived at the scene within a few minutes, at around 2:35 AM. Despite their best efforts,the male passenger of the SUV was pronounced dead at 2:54 AM. The female passenger remains unresponsive and in critical condition, and the medical team continues to provide her with the best possible care.
