To combat these feelings, I propose transitioning to a matrix structure. This hybrid approach allows workers to benefit from a formal and informal work setup by reporting to a functional manager and a project manager. Unlike our current structure, project managers will work laterally across product and service teams. Functional managers keep their role as specialists, while project managers take charge of cross-functional coordination and project completion within deadlines and budget. This structure can boost communication and collaboration among different departments and functions, as project managers can facilitate regular team gatherings and give project updates. In addition, the Director of Shared Resources Group will now oversee Information Technology, Human Resources, and Marketing. This change ensures uniform reporting and oversight. In summary, the matrix structure can balance formal and informal systems, increase inter-departmental communication, and support managers. Although, it is crucial to consider the company's unique needs and culture and ensure everyone is on board with the change.Impact on Organizational CommunicationImplementing a matrix structure will significantly
