Autism spectrum disorder is a lifelong neurodevelopmental disorder that occurs in early childhood and is characterized by deficits in communication and social interaction, restricted interests, repetitive behaviors, and sensory problems (Werch, 2015). Early detection will help to ensure that the child’s education is put on the right path.Research Methods:The research methods used in these research articles are peer-reviewed studies. Peer- reviews are studies where medical professionals review each other’s work, this is so the reader gets relevant, significant and accurate data (Felman, 2019). The appropriateness of this method in the research that we are doing is so that the data that is collected on the question will be accurate and relevant to the problem at hand.
