This topic consists of different areas, such as characteristics of established leadership styles and different leadership theories. According to Robbins and Judge (2013), leadership is defined as “the ability to influence a group toward the achievement of a vision or set of goals.” (p. 368). In order for a person to be perceived as a leader, he or she must possess a certain personality and certain traits, such as charisma, enthusiasm, courage, and motivation.
