Introduction:Rite aid is one of USA’s leading drug store with approximately 4,700 stores in 31 states and has around 91,000 associates. It is the third largest drug store chain in the USA. and is traded on the New York stock exchange. The comparison of the cultural cluster in which Rite Aid operates shows that there are vertical and horizontal differences operating in the USA and in Canada.The socio cultural association of booth these countries are very varied. While in USA the population is diverse with many ethnic groups each identified by an ethnic status, the Canadian population is not all that diverse. The socio cultural aspects of doing business in these two countries would involve employee relationships and employment laws along with other very sensitive multicultural issues that would arise for Rite Aid when it advertises its drugs and products.
