Durkheim was concerned about the impact of technology on society as post modernism made life better for people at the same time there were great and grave instances of diminishing morality and dangers to too much aggression of the people who had the source and power to control their technological inputs. People tended to go more towards social networking rather than relying on family relationships.Life today is neither pastoral nor horticultural .The advances that have been made in societies practicing different kinds of occupation show that progress in societies has been achieved. Life today is more technology dependant and surviving has not become difficult as the avenues that are available are many more .In order to survive ne needs to find a gainful employment either through the use of his own resources or resources from other sources. A taking for granted in normal life is that one is employed and can take care of his familial responsibilities. I take for granted that I can use my resources to find work .
