Case StudyCalifornia State University, FullertonPopulation Health Nursing - NURS 402Grape Family Case StudyIntroductionThe Grape family currently consists of six members: Bonnie, Larry, Amy, Gilbert, Arnie, and Ellen. The father to the five children, Albert Grape, died from suicide due to depression. As a result, Bonnie, the mother to the five children, has also developed depression and has resorted to staying indoors for seven years. This decision, backed up by depression, was influenced by her inability to provide for her five children. While staying all the time indoors, Bonnie has developed habits like binge-watching and smoking. Additionally, she spends most of her time eating with no exercise. This sedentary lifestyle has significantly contributed to Bonnie’s obesity. Larry is the eldest child in the Grape family who left the family earlier and is missing from the family’s daily activities. Amy, 28 years old, is the second-born and also the eldest daughter who has now taken up all motherly roles by cooking and ensuring everything within the house runs smoothly. This situation strains Amy because the family depends on her for many house duties, including cleaning, cooking, and caring for everyone. After
