Solar-powered community garden project.Objectives.Designing a community garden that is solar-powered, which is environmentally friendly, and generates a sustainable source of power for lighting and irrigation.Target audience. Populations that live in urban areas but do not have access to vast gardens that they can use for cultivation. Description.The solar powered community garden project is proposed to use renewable energy; tapped from solar panels and used to provide lighting and power gardening equipment. Community volunteers and other professionals will be used to maintain the energy production systems, sustain the gardening practices like pest control, composting, elimination of intruders and enhance further production The solar panels to be used will be handy in converting solar energy to electrical energy. The electrical energy will then be stored in batteries ,which will then be used to power equipment used in the garden, like the water pumps, lighting and other electrical tools. The water used in the garden will definitely have to be recycled to reduce its wastage. The garden also will prioritize in growing plants that produce high yields so as to cater for the small spaces available, for instance vegetables can be squeezed into bunches
