I discussed with Ms. Nieto the induction or welcome she received at our school. Ms. Nieto stated the induction process included online new teacher orientation from the district, where she was trained on classroom management, curriculum instruction, and relationship building with students. Eventually she was assigned a mentor 2 months later who met with her monthly. Ms. Nieto stated that being hired and receiving a teaching assignment went well and smoothly. The process was quite easy. She believed that it happened all so quickly. She wished that the New Teacher Orientation was not online but she knew that there was nothing she could change about that. The entire process did help her with setting up her classroom, understanding what to do on the first day,
