American Indian/Alaska Native adults were 10% more likely to have hypertension than white adults than non-Hispanic whites (United States Department of Health and Human Sciences Office of Minority Health, 2021) . The assessment aims to discuss the impact of leadership in promoting self-management intervention to Indian Americans suffering from hypertension. The self-management interventions will promote inter-professional collaboration, change management strategies, consider nursing ethics when implementing the interventions. It will also focus on communication and collaboration strategies utilizing with patients and families. Lastly, it will focus on the impact of educating the patients on hypertensionthe role of technology in implementing the interventions and utilizing community resources.
