Stakeholders for a project should include those with knowledge of institutionalprocesses, subject matter expertise, or power for change. The process of stakeholder identification started with brainstorming with my mentor. We identified several subjects that were of interest and related to perceived problems or deficiencies within the institutional process and resources. We then reached out to contacts within the appropriate departments to identify potential stakeholders. These stakeholders were able to provide further contacts with related interests.
