There are times when putting labels on works of art is reductive. Art movements are made up of artistic tendencies or styles that have been combined into collective titles. It is incredible looking back through time and seeing the many art movements; doing this gives us a glimpse of how modern and contemporary art began and developed. Art reflects what time in which it was created. In this assignment, I am going to be analyzing two pieces of art that are from two different movements. In my analysis, I will cover evaluation, interpretation, and description.
