Student’s Name Instructor’s Name Course Date Terrorism and the U.S. National SecurityTerrorism is one of the major problems affecting the implementation of national security in the United States and other countries around the world. The rapidly growing technology has continued to challenge the performance of the U.S. National Security Policy due to the changing trend in the mode of terrorism attacks. The issue of national and foreign-sponsored terror activities involving violent acts exposes human life to great danger. Building from the experience of the 9/11 attack that portrayed the changing nature of terrorism attacks, the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) has continued a hard time combating terrorism activities in the United States. Although much is still being accomplished in the U.S. National Security, the presence of militia groups and foreign-sponsored intelligence targeting the United States people or property remains in a critical condition. Therefore, the changing nature of global terrorism continues to threaten U.S. National Security policy implementation. To solve this problem, the federal government should strengthen ties with foreign governments and cooperate in fighting the terror groups outside the country. This action will increase the capacity of the National Security Policy to oversee
