Church Vs Government: Which Best Serves Those In Need?

Signature Assignment When helping people or communities less fortunate the first concern is, “Are you hungry? Here is something to eat.” but the solution to service the poor does not stop there. It is also a form of isolation. Even though people need to eat daily, they often need something more than that such as a job to support themselves and or a mentor to help them accomplish their desires. People need other people consistently in their lives. We must integrate the poor into our community and refrain from marginalization. But the question is, who should be in charge of providing this service financially? (Ryan, 2014) Faith based organizations can provide better quality of care due to their positive reputation, variety of partnerships and community outreach, and their efficiency. The government has the ability to service a larger quantity of people or communities because of the expansion of access to health care and other safety net programs that qualify more low income or homeless people, and implementing a parallel social welfare system that is more comprehensive by addressing both mental and physical needs.
