Part 1: The career paths I found are teaching psychology and counselling psychology the career path that intrigued me in teaching psychology is post-secondary psychology teachers. This career involves delivering lectures on psychology to undergraduate or graduate students, initiating and facilitating, classroom discussions and evaluating and grading students. The second related occupation is school psychologist. The occupation involves compiling and interpreting students test results and discussing these results with parents to diagnose special conditions. Under counselling psychology I found is school counsellor, this role involves collecting information about students using interviews, taking case histories and using observational techniques. The occupation also involves counsel students, student groups and their families to help them understand problems and deal with crises. The second related occupation is Therapy counselling, this occupation involves counselling individuals in crises and help them develop coping mechanisms.Part 2: I will apply the content in this course in my future career in psychology by using the principles of psychology in considering how people relate, how they think and behave as well as their experience of the world.
