The score indicates that my organization offers safe working conditions, optimal patient care, and low medical cost. However, the company has to do a lot to ensure that the score moves from current 81 (moderately healthy) to above 90 (very healthy). According to Clark (2018), organization must always develop a culture that promotes work place safety. When the workplace is not safe or ideal for working, then the lives of patients is always at risk. Clark, Olender, Cardoni, & Kenski (2011) assert that inability to promote healthy workplace environment leads to incivility. When incivility arises, then the working conditions become unsafe, patient care becomes poor, and the medical costs increases. Two aspects surprised me most after the assessment process.
