These traumatic experiences correspond to those experienced by thepatients and have significantly affected the quality of care and physically and psychologicallyimpacted the nurses, some with mortal outcomes. In ER nurses, the number of such cases hasbeen alarmingly high, yet little awareness has been created (Ratrout & Hamdan-Mansour,2020) . A similar clinical cost has been reported among pediatric nurses who experience PTSDsymptoms as a result of caring for critically ill infants and women during traumatic births.Beck (2020) performed a qualitative secondary analysis to measure different categories ofPTSD among pediatric and maternal-newborn nurses and found that PTSD was highlyprevalent. In yet another study, significant levels of secondary trauma across the frontline, midlevel, and director-level nurses were reported, which
