LMH Health formerly Lawrence Memorial Hospital is among many organizations that have embraced Quality Improvement Initiatives. LMH Health is a hospital in Lawrence, Kansas in the United States with a 174 bed capacity (LMH, 2019a). The hospital started operating in 1921, and has become one of the most established hospitals in the United States. The hospital is community-owned and focuses on satisfying the needs of the community (LMH, 2019a).In the previous years, the hospital faced numerous challenges that significantly impacted on its quality of services. Safety, effectiveness, and efficiency had become a challenge at the hospital (LMH, 2019b). Therefore, the hospital management embarked on a process of improving its quality of services. The Quality Improvement Initiative process was aimed at improving the safety of patients and enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of patients’ care.
