If the objective is to change North Korea’s behaviour what is the better option between active engagement and isolation? In his article Edward Luttwak, argues that military engagement of North Korea is a good idea. An attempt to destroy Kim Jung-un’s arsenal would give him the more reason to use it. It is most likely this would precipitate nuclear strikes on the US or a barrage of thousands of conventional arsenal on the United States, its interests and allies.
