To many, they spell violence, injury and loss of lives for protesters and innocent civilians. Since the first world war, people have used force to get what they want. Thus it is unimaginable that governments can change their stand without opposers engaging in a physical struggle. However, it is possible. Therefore, this paper reflects on the possibility of non-violent movement successfully altering the political, social and economic structure of the united states. Referring to the Serbian case, the Popovic and his protestors were able to overthrow Slobodan Milosevic with a peaceful but highly thought strategies (Popovic Miller, 2015). Then, it is also possible to change situations in the United States in relation to social, political and economic structures. Then the question would be how to achieve change without fighting.
