Majority of schools and daycares have playgrounds to allow the children an opportunity to interact outside the class environment, breathe fresh air and exercise their bodies. However, thousands of children are treated annually due to injuries that occur while playing, while some kids do not find the right equipment to play with. Therefore, a good playground should be safe and equip with the necessary facilities to meet its purpose. This report analyses the safety and suitability of the Cantiague Elementary Schools playground to meet the health needs of its users. Part The playground Playground rules Adult supervision required at all times Shoes and jewellery should be left at the cabinet before entering the playground Socks must be worn at all times No food, gum, or drink on or near play area No climbing up slides or nets No toys from home or sharp objects on the playground Rough play is prohibited Keep ball in the ball area to avoid accidents Wash hands before entering the playground Please no sick children Playground safety Cantiague Elementary School playground is also reasonably safe from outsiders.
